This 18-year-old patient was very self-conscious about the hump on her nasal dorsum. She was pleased with her nasal tip and wanted a nose with a straight nasal dorsum without changing her nasal tip with a rhinoplasty.
She met with Dr Antunes at his Austin, Texas, Facial Plastic Surgery Practice for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam Dr Antunes examined her nose to determine her nasal anatomy and performed computer image morphing to determine the patient’s goals with her rhinoplasty. During the consultation, Dr Antunes determined that she would be a good candidate for a closed rhinoplasty.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her rhinoplasty. She is super happy with the results and feels that the procedure was able to make her feel more confident. She is not bothered when people take pictures that show her profile.
