This 19-year-old patient came to see Dr Antunes primarily because she had difficulty breathing through her nose. She also had been self-conscious about the size of her nose since she could remember. She did not like the dorsal hump and felt that her nasal tip was wide and bulbous. She was looking for a nose that was overall smaller in size, with a smooth nasal dorsum and a tip that was more refined and lifted.
She met with Dr Antunes at his Austin, Texas, Facial Plastic Surgery Practice for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam Dr Antunes discussed the functional issues creating the nasal obstruction and performed computer image morphing to determine the patient’s goals with her rhinoplasty.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her rhinoplasty. She is super happy with the results and feels that her new nose fits her face perfectly and she is breathing much much better!
