This 22-year-old patient always liked her nose. She suffered a nasal fracture and her nose healed crooked. She felt that the crookedness not only created an aesthetic problem, but she also developed difficulty breathing. She was looking for a nose that was straight and was as close to her original nose as possible.
She met with Dr. Antunes at his Facial Plastic Surgery Practice in Austin, Texas, for a consultation to discuss her options. During the exam, Dr. Antunes performed computer image morphing to determine the patient’s goals with her rhinoplasty. Dr. Antunes discussed the challenges of the crooked nose and how sometimes the nose cannot be restored to exactly what it was before.
The patient is shown here 1 year after her rhinoplasty. She is super happy with the results and feels that the procedure even made her breathe much better.
